Local Research

We made the CNG students answer the following questions:

  1. Do you prefer adopting or buying an animal?
  2. Have you adopted an animal?
  3. Have you heard about any adoption Organization?
  4. Would you like to complete your social service hours with animals?
With this, we got deeper knowledge about what people in Bogota think about our issue and how it would be easier to help.

How we researched

We made our research by using databases and different sources such as surveys (to CNG students), interviews to animal adoption agencies (Peluditos con Futuro and A.D.A), newspapers comments about the street animal crisis (local newspapers such as El Tiempo and El Espectador). We watched carefully the statistics and conditions to learn more about the topic/

How we chose our issue

We decided to make a campaign that involved street animals because it is a worldwide/environmental issue that involves us all. We are concerned for this animals and feel motivated to be able to help their conditions or even find them a home.

Its a Global Issue

We wanted to be involved with the idea of helping animals around our city and decided to advertise the conditions they live in and expect people to contribute to the cause. We started by thinking it in the global issue it is, daily, animals around the world suffer with violence, starvation and diseases that are not taken cared of by the governments around the world.

If we set the goal, we really can help the street animals around the world.
